Fair Housing Month

April is Fair Housing Month. During this time, there is an increased effort to spread awareness of fair housing practices. PBRPC will be assisting those efforts by holding a training and providing information about other learning opportunities. Promoting fair and affordable housing protects people from discrimination based on race, religion, sex, disability, or other characteristics. Many federal, state, private, and nonprofit agencies, including the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, support and advocate for fair housing guidelines. 

During this year's Fair Housing Month, TDHCA is hosting several public webinars to bolster public awareness of fair housing.
